A race is a contest that runs for a fixed window of time. Everyone is ranked by one thing only, and when the clock reaches zero the top places share the prize pool.

There is nothing to join. Every member is entered automatically, and only what is credited to your account while this race is running counts towards it, so anything earned before it opens is left out. From the moment it opens, your position moves as soon as activity is credited. Do the thing this race counts, and keep doing it until it ends.

Whoever reached the score first ranks higher. Getting there early is worth something, so a prize place is never decided by a coin toss.

Prizes are paid automatically the moment the race ends. The amount lands in your balance as CanyonCoin straight away, with nothing to claim and nobody to wait for.

A score of zero wins nothing, so an empty account never takes a prize place. If fewer people qualify than there are places, the shares nobody won are simply not paid out.

Yes. The moment this race ends the next one starts, with the same pool, the same places and the same length.

One account per person. Duplicate accounts, shared devices used to farm places and any other faked activity are taken out of the standings before prizes are worked out, and can cost you your balance.
